Re: fixed link! bbc news story: why the naked mole rat doesn't get cancer...

Hi

Last friday you may have seen an email from
me about the naked mole rats. Unfortunately
while the link worked right when I sent it
that wasn't the case the next day and this
caused a lot of confusion.

Sorry for that.

So in case you followed that link expecting
the story about the naked mole rat and why
they don't get cancer and live about 30 years
but ended up seeing another video!

Please accept my apology. That was not the
intention...

Anyway, I hope you had a good day of gratitude -
maybe we can extend that to everyday!

And here's the (working) link to the mole rat
story and video:

Of course if you like the idea of increasing
your levels of Hyaluronic Acid here is where
where you can see my 'Black Wednesday' deal:

It goes til tomorrow night. I kinda wish I
called it White Wednesday just to make it
feel a bit brighter.

So about the naked mole rats!

I'll summarize ;~)

The naked mole rat has very high levels of
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is the master
hydration molecule in mammals. It's a gooey
substance that holds 400-1000x its weight
in water and thus keeps our tissues hydrated.

Of course that works in the opposite as well,
if your levels of HA drop your hydration
drops with it.

Lowered levels of HA are known to be
associated with wrinkles in the skin, joint
problems (due to dried up synovial fluid),
and overall degeneration of the tissue.

Researchers now believe that it's the high
levels of HA that prevent the naked mole
rat from getting cancer and giving them a
lifespan of 30 years!

So check out this BBC News article and
video about it:

That's about it for today.

Hope you've had an awesome week and wishing you
a great weekend.

Best of Health,
Joshua
