It's true! Here in Eugene, Oregon we had a fluke ice storm which caused so much tree damage that over 10,000 of us were without power. Some of us for over a week!

Most of my neighbors left because things got rather cold. We did pretty well and the power has now been restored ;)

I made a short video showing some of the damage around here - you can see it right here.

Needless to say the Holiday Giveaway Contest that we had just started was delayed during this time but now I've added an additional video explaining how it works.
